How to choose the correct size for a ready-made leotard

To choose the correct size, measure your gymnast then find the most appropriate size based on the sizing chart below. Please ensure your gymnast is wearing fitted clothing (such as a leotard) during the measuring process.

A. GIRTH - Measure from centre of one shoulder, down the front through the legs and back up to the starting point.

B. BUST - With arms relaxed and down at the sides, measure around the fullest part of the chest.

C. WAIST - Measure around the natural waistline which is the narrowest part of the upper body (between the hipbone and the bottom of the rib cage).

Tip: Tying an elastic around your gymnast's torso can help you find the smallest part of the waistline as the elastic will move to show you the narrowest part of the torso.

D. HIP - Measure around the fullest part of the buttocks and lower hip.

Leotard Size Finder

While this tool aims to guide you towards the most suitable size, remember that individual body shapes and comfort levels can vary. The sizes suggested are based on standard measurements, and gymnasts, like all athletes, can sometimes differ from these standards. Always trust your judgment when choosing a size, and consider the average of the suggested sizes (particularly the hip and girth) for the most accurate result.
